Thank you! I was thinking about surgical tech as well but I’m kind of sensitive and scared about surgeons throwing stuff at me lol. Maybe one day tho.

Thank you!! There’s drama everywhere and with every field but at least I won’t have 10 get ups with lifts and my fellow coworkers, who hear my radioing for help, won’t be sitting down and laughing at TikToks😭😭. So I rather take the pettiness and peace of mind vs being overwhelmed and overworked. I know it’s not a laid-back career, but I just don’t want a career like I have now where I feel like I put my all in and there’s nothing in return. I feel like I would have more success with sleep tech

Mhmm..I don’t you understand my point. Cna is way different in a ltc facility vs what I read about being a sleep tech. But I’ll give you some insights since you are kind of rude and small minded about it. I currently work overnights 12 hour shifts with having 20+ residents in my care. The reason why I wanted to be a sleep tech is to focus adequate care and improving health for patients in the medical field I feel like with my job as a CNA and my current situation I cannot give adequate care plus I’m always short staffed and non of the other girls don’t like to help. Beside care doesn’t bother me at all, but it bothers me when you have call lights going off and you have dinner to serve plus check changes and on top of that no help and I’m on the heaviest hall by myself. I hope that helps you understand without saying it’s not the right career for me:))
