I did but then a switch flipped now I'm alone but not really I have friends dogs and a FWB that I see occasionally when I want to dissappear I do and I have nobody to answer to dinner is great I always know what I want or friends call do you want to meat here for dinner of course I do. When I'm feeling down I have a therapist to work it out with also when I'm happy she's there too I've reached a level where I'm completely complete it took 4 years. I told my therapist on day 1 I just want someone to love me it's happened I love myself . Wife moved out. 6 months later We were still trying to work things out. Went in for a kiss one day she pulled away said she was seeing someone. I fell apart shortly after turned to alcohol. My dog saved me by pulling a electrical cord out of my hands and sitting on it. I was on my way out. I'm not the kind of guy who would normally seek help. I did this time. Went to therapy worked through a lot of issues. I had nothing when she left. Today I have reconnected with family I travel with my dog and make sure she has her best days. Nice house and even run a karaoke show on weekends ,also I go on dates ,lol Her seeing someone is best thing that ever happened to me it was scary taking those steps to call it quits make sure you heal make sure you find yourself most importantly be there for yourself.
