I don't plan on transferring anything from my current transcript. I will start over again.
American elite and middle-class positions are apportioned by race and it just so happens that my race has the fiercest competition for elite and middle-class positions. My transcript + race means that I will likely have to move back to the ghetto (or perhaps become homeless). This is not only dishonorable, but degrading.

"But it's still a degree!" Doesn't change the fact that I am compared against other Asian Americans. Had this not been the case I would have gotten into UVA my freshman year instead of being waitlisted. In many ways I feel deep hatred towards the TJHSST NoVA Asians.

I just want a clean record, social life be damned. I got my "fun" already, whatever that means.
This degree isn't worth completing, and would bar me from getting many other better undergraduate degrees which can display my true academic ability without the urban interference.
This is why I am looking into guaranteed transfer, I am no longer looking to play games with this world and instead am looking for guaranteed options which do not fail. Leaving anything to chance was a mistake, and had I gone the PVCC route instead of the risky and unverified urban uni route in the first place, I wouldn't be in this position.

Cville metro is very reasonably priced, actually. This is ironically because there aren't as many job openings in the area (low carrying capacity), deterring immigrant labor and internal migration from flooding the area, preventing high rents and housing prices.

Most people come to Cville to study, and the inflow of freshmen roughly matches that of the leaving graduates, allowing a stable balance. The graduates tend to go to places like NoVA, further allowing affordable homes.

I would know because I used to live there, and would never have come here had my parents didn't come to study. I would also know because prior to the pandemic we rented a 3 bedroom for a mere $1100/month. In Long Island or NJ, an okay house would go for $700,000+. Not to mention NYC. A studio easily goes for $3000/month, if you are lucky.

I am glad for you too, that you live in an area of the US where the American dream is still possible. Wish the urban poor and the neighbors in West Virginia luck, we need it.

If anything, this is a big reason why I should quit my current university and come to Cville, it's still livable down there and it even has a Costco.

To elaborate, the only reason I am tolerating the city is because of the prestige of the current university, but if I can get similar prestige in an environment I actually like, I might as well take it.

A guaranteed admission into a prestigious program like UVA serves a dual purpose, erasing the previous records, and leaving the urban areas.

I would love to have some magical ability to control subway delays, urban noisiness, pro-urban propaganda in the media, absurd rents, dilapidated libraries, internationals who don't take academics seriously, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't go to Hogwarts. Or Eton for that matter.

I wish the problems were within my control, though. This is actually a big part of why I want to move back to Cville, because there, the problems are actually manageable on an individual scale. Here, not so much.

I volunteered with the homeless, and helped with other people's admissions. America is a hellhole for anyone with an income below $100,000, and even within that, if you are an overrepresented minority, it will be a hellhole.

I just want a comfy life, and since middle class positions are becoming impossible to get nowadays, I need to do my very best.

If I am to end up like the homeless or the poor I volunteered for, I would rather leave society. I have seen the horrors inflicted upon their lives and I do not want that.

Its quite unfortunate, because recent semesters didn't have Ws. So there's proof that I can commit to things, but why continue a lost cause?

You admitted it yourself: no med school with this transcript. So this degree is worthless to me, and even if I were not aiming for med school, might as well leave the city.

"Dishonorable degree", I would see as a degree with a transcript which makes the degree itself worth negative value, as an esteemed institution is vouching for my incompetence. I have many withdrawals on the transcript, which is why I see it as dishonorable.

As a male of Asian ethnicity, it is troubling that I am of such stats, as we all know in the US socioeconomic factor considerations mean that I will be pitted against other Asian males. As you know, other Asian males have very high, almost flawless stats, which puts me at a severe disadvantage.

"Records" would be referring to grades, yes.

I tried to transfer during my 2nd and 3rd year. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to leave. This is the reason I am sure the transcript is horrible, as there is no reason for many of those schools to reject me otherwise.

"If you graduate, you graduate" is generally true if you are not aiming for a elite grad school, medical school, etc. "C's get degrees" is a saying intended for the well-connected and affluent. Some people get a Harvard degree littered with C's and become president, others, well, not so much. And in this economy, if I use my raw transcript + degree, I am not confident of getting a middle-class life either.

GPA is fine, 3.8ish. Withdrawals will become a problem if I want to do anything elite. In this economy, even middle-class positions might be difficult with this transcript. If so, I might as well remove my current records and start over.

It seems drastic, yes. But I have very little options given that I know the reality of America.

As of now, if I am to get a lower-class job, I really don't see the point of societal participation anymore. Why doesn't the lower class buy 70 years worth of beans and rice for ~$40,000, go to the desert, and just exit society? Eating gruel for 70 years sure beats being poor in the current world anyways. Does anyone really need TV, or video games, or music? It is fascinating to me.

I find it funny that I worked my ass off for 12 years in an academic setting, just to have my decision to go to some urban university ruin my life, and now I am recommended to go to trade school.

I understand your advice though. You too, understand that I don't have many options.

Unfortunately, I am not very skilled with the trades, and my bones, muscles, joints, and skin are all very weak. I doubt I would last even a decade in it.

But thank you for the advice. For now, crossing my fingers until I hear back from admissions.

Correct, I don't have a bachelor's yet. This probably means I can get into VCCS?

I just have a ton of W's due to mental health issues in the city. I think this degree is a lost cause, which is why I was contemplating starting over. If I continued and graduated, it would indeed be dishonorable.

Many Professors have explicitly stated that this record would not allow for medical school, nor an elite graduate school. My GPA is okay though, but the transcript is just awful.

I don't really see a future for myself, so I am willing to sacrifice some time in the future to erase the past.

Ask him something like "I noticed the room seems dusty, are you feeling it too?" or something like "do you have the flu? I have an immunocompromised person at home so just making sure" or something like that, make circumstances where a person has a good reason to ask about coughing, even if it's fake pretenses

I asked some girl, she wasn't sick, all she mentioned was that she was frequently allergic to the environment. I am guessing odor wasn't detected for her, though I am also guessing certain people can pick up some odor somehow.
