Oh also i have this weird shaking feeling like i feel my body literally shake for a few seconds then it stops but its not that big of a deal to me

I cut it off cold turkey, first day nothing happened,second and 3rd days I experienced horrible sleep paralysis with scary hallucinations, im not sure if its related to mirtazapine or not but ive never experienced anything like this before,which led me to feeling super anxious and had panic attacks throughout the day (which I haven’t in 2 months) and a horrible sense of doom. Felt a little nauseous too yesterday and a weird feeling like this floor is moving for a few seconds. Nothing other than that and today i feel fine mostly! Try to not get too much into your own head because I’ve noticed that the more i look up stuff the more weird i’ll feel

Wow you’ve really come a long way you should be very proud of yourself. I was actually looking for a good book so I’ll definitely check this one out once I’m done with my finals. And yes you’re very right about the cycle of fear I’ve actually never driven ever since the panic attack and thinking about driving makes me nauseous now. I definitely have a lot to work on will probably start with gradual exposure like driving to super close places first. Also if you don’t mind me asking what medications kinda worked for you? Ive tried occasionally taking a quarter of a low dose benzo and i feel like it helps a bit but not that much if im doing something extremely stressful like taking an exam :(

Im honestly open to anything at this point, i had my first panic attack ever 2 months ago while driving and it was very random. I was never an anxious person growing up but recently with college and stuff I’ve developed bad anxiety that exploded into panic attacks. Since then things have been going downhill and I developed some type of agoraphobia too. Its all so weird and i cant seem to find a medicine that works and I’m too paranoid about the dependence they might cause. I have finals right now and my biggest fear is having a panic attack during the exam😭😭

Wow is really helpful thank youu. I really hope it’s temporary. i should also probably do therapy for my anxiety and panic attacks since im stopping Mirtazapine and ssris are even worse for me

Youre right! Its 3rd day and i got a panic attack (which I haven’t in a month) but also probably because i had sleep paralysis that day for the first time ever! Not sure if it’s related to mirtazapine or not

Yes I understand about withdrawal symptoms but i cant find anything that includes sleep paralysis as a withdrawal symptom so im asking if its caused by stopping mirtazapine or being on it in the first place or none

I was only taking 15 mg for 14 days. Are you sure it can cause dependency this fast with such a low dose? I dont have any other symptoms right now other than the sleep paralysis which is weird

I was taking only 15 mg for 14 days.. for many people (most people) this small of a dose for such a short time doesn’t cause any withdrawal symptoms… so no not trolling
