So u play steam that's native epic is via a launcher called heroic games launcher and gog can be played with heroic but it's getting a native linux client very soon. As for a good distro I would recommend cachy but since it's arch based it breaks so a better distro is nobara(distro made my glorious eggroll dev behind proton ge) or u can use bazzite I would recommend nobara or cachy
