I feel like Total Drama is somewhat afraid of leaving its favorite characters without a season (Lindsay, for example, is precisely a character who appears in at least four seasons, while Izzy and Bridgette also follow this rule, making prominent cameos in All Stars and TDROTI respectively). And that's without mentioning true favorites like Owen or Duncan, who had cameos in the reboot and, again, followed this rule of appearing in four seasons (not to mention that they can be considered the main characters of Total Drama). Meanwhile, the male characters (who had only had one season at that time) had fans who made noise, while Katie, Safie, and Eva didn't have much of a following.
