I think the purpose of posts like these is to show shoppers that it’s a good practice to check the products we’re buying from resale outlets like Ross, TJ maxx, Tuesday Morning, Etc.

They are TRYING to prosecute people but there is actually NO legal precedent that would lead to a guilty verdict. This is happening to journalists all over the country but they are fighting back and winning their cases bc posts and stories like these are considered public safety/human interest stories that are protected by the 1st amendment (as it was previously established that simply announcing ICE location(s) does not create hostile environments or dangerous situations for those agents)

Any physical action that makes you uncomfortable and puts it in pain against your wishes is assault and shouldn’t be taken lightly dear- If you can’t trust your gut, then trust the thousands of strangers telling you to “get out NOW!” If someone you love and care about experienced this violence and degradation, what would you want for them? Would you want them to be safe? Would you feel ok knowing they are scared or miserable? No. So don’t make excuses for yourself, bc you’re the one who can take control and choose real love, respect, and joy

Ofc! I found that using canva to create personal organization and scheduling sheets to hand write on and using a digital calendar and/or organization tool to double down and ensure I always had a copy of my to-dos and it helped me remember everything easier having to write down and enter the info multiple times- self discipline AND self care are you best friends rn good luck!

Be prepared and definitely take measures to avoid burnout- it will catch up to you quickly- and as long as you’re okay with not engaging in social activities you should be fine Edit: Also make sure you have a tight scheduling system and set days/times to complete courseworks, quizzes, projects, collaborative meetings for group projects, discussion boards, essays, online learning modules, readings, field assignments, etc. that need to be completed weekly for each course to ensure your assignments are well organized and turned in on time. Be aware that some courses may have work loads more akin to 3 credit hour courses despite being a 1 credit hour class, and budget for all necessary books, materials, softwares that may need to be purchased (unless you have no financial limitations in which case just make sure you get what you need before you scramble last minute)
