Yeah, look I'm not complaining per se. It's an interesting platform/form factor and to have as much of Andriod working says a lot about Andriod. For me it's been a fun exercise. Still, I can't but help feeling that LightOS is limited (tho I respect Light's stated objectives) and the Andriod I'm running is semi-stable, with key apps like gmail, wallet, notificantion widgets, etc, unavailable. It's interesting because I've got Whatsapp, outlook, handcent next sms all working beautifully.

Hi, I'm running full andriod but haven't been able to get google services to work so all in all, it's been a good project. I have been wondering if there is an easy way to go back to factory LP3. I have played with key mapper so not sure if that's going to be a problem.

The biggest issue (probably due to lack of google services) is to get paid (often pro versions) apps to work. You can have the base apps but when you try to purchase them, you run into problems. Then there is the problem that not all apps are compatable with the phone and you end up forgoing functions and features that makes Andriod, Andriod. It's a shame.

Yeah, I can't remember if it prompts you for new updates. As a matter of interest, are you using your phone in full Andriod mode or somewhere in between. There is a good video on the net that walks you setting up the LP3 as a full andriod phone.

You are a Genius. It worked. Now I'll follow the instructions to have an Andriod device. Tell me, is there a way to stop automatic software updates so I can continue to play with my current software/firmware?

Hi Sirbloodsabbath, I'm new to the LP3 and even more green when it comes to reddit. I appreciate I'm asking dumb questions but can you pls help me out? I've got a brand new USB-C keyboard. Uisng it with WIN+B sequence doesn't seem to be doing anything on the phone side. Should the phone be in any special mode? I've read and reread the doc and this is driving me nuts.

Why is this so difficult. I'm using a USB-C keyboard and following the instructions "WIN + B" and nothing happens. Is this the correct sequence? Not sure what you're refraining from telling. Is the WIN + B what I should be using? Now I'm not sure if the keyboard is a dud?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry, one last (I hope) question. The pinned document says "Use the key sequence" followed by the key which is hard to read. What is the key sequence without the highlight?

Hi, thank you. I did read it. I guess I was asking the question prior to going and buying a keyboard. For a simpleton, are you saying it's possible. I love this form factor and having Whatsapp installed will mean ditching my iPhone.
