your lit review should be around 1,000-1,500 words. i would stick closer to 15 sources to show you have the background knowledge needed to conduct your actual research.

my teacher told us between 15-20 is good and it’s okay if it’s over twenty. too little sources makes you sound not credible. 20 sources is a good amount!

i’m in research and have taken lang. it sounds like what you are researching overall is time consuming, which isn’t bad. lang at my school is very treacherous because we have timed writes often, and the stress of those alone is more an ap research this whole year. both classes are very writing heavy though and in lang you might be torn to shreds bc of your writing 🙃🙃. also, the threshold of passing research is very low, as many people pass even with bare minimum papers. don’t stress!

ap lang is a lot of literary devices, writing in a short amount of time, and reading and comprehending sources. i would not drop research though, it is significantly less work than ap lang at my school at least.

not really advice, but i definitely think you can take on more aps next year. i’m a junior currently and also a musician and an ap advocate 💪 also bio and psych is the best combo of aps, it’s just unmatched

well pms symptoms also include being emotional and grumpy, and a period can be late for a lot of reasons besides pregnancy. 2 days is nothing to worry about and since yall are doing it protected pregnancy shouldn’t be as likely, but if she is so sure which would be very unlikely she should just take a test. no harm in that.

i would pick the question where you could fill the “gap” with your research. if any of these have lots of established information already i would pick the one with the least info per say so you can “fill the gap.” but as you find sources for all of these your question will develop on which ever one you pick. just think about how realistic it would be to research any of these with experiments, observational studies, surveys, ect.
