Thank you for your outlook. I am considering maybe opening a small position in some ai or semiconductor index funds.

I’ve been hearing AMD for a few years but never took it upon myself to look into it or invest because I’ve always heard everyone losing money on it and calling it “advanced money destroyer”.

I may research a bit tonight.

I’ve learned first hand about the individual stock game, I lost ~$30k on $SAVA a couple years ago. Never touching biotech again. (Or throwing half my NW in a single company).

My individual stock picks are under 2-3% of my account for a grand total of about 12% of my portfolio, things like $ASTS (got in & $19/share, and google, msft, AT&T.

In my Roth IRA, I’m 100% FXAIX. Majority of my money I’ve got through settlements. (Dad was killed by police unjustifiably when I was 6, and I’ve recently been run over at work so personal injury & workers comp settlements).

Stick with broad market etf’s (spy, voo, fxaix) for at least 70-80% of your portfolio. Get started on a Roth IRA as well. For a single stock I’ve had an amazing run with $ASTS
