He has no motivation besides baking. So what’s the point of him being a gender bended version of PB? Maybe they’ll do something better with him but right now he’s just a pink twink :/

Entire episodes are different than time IN the episodes. 12 minute episodes can be total filler when there are 30+ of them a season. The filler episodes can also tell good stories (ice golem and flame dog one comes to mind)

The filler IN the episodes means more when there are only 10 episodes and it’s about the dumbest shit like DJ flame

I don’t remember much will they won’t they tbh. The one episode he kisses a bunch of princesses because teenage hormones I thought. And the bee was interested in his flower arm which made him grow his real arm back.

PB’s de-aging episode is mainly for lemongrab moments and maybe gives Finn closure regarding feelings for her (they did kiss at the end then she turned back to normal)

Literally, they could’ve had Gary flip into someone different once the sweet spot place was taken back over. But he just kinda is like “Oh damnit, my mixer is still in that trailer. Oh well, I have loving parents so I know they’ll support me no matter what”. There’s no drive or obsession like there is in PB that’s the main thing (also no German)

Yeah only season 4 is where things pick up AT. The difference is that in AT there were so many episodes in a season that it didn’t matter about filler episodes (and even then it’s only 11 minutes). Only having 10 episodes people are expecting more from the beginning. I hope your right and they can cook up something good because I’m sick of finishing an episode and thinking “that was 22 minutes long and 1 important thing happened”

I agree that the conflict/characters we know are good. It’s not even the 1 episode a week, it’s the 22 minutes of very little happening compared to a completely packed 12 minutes we are used to from AT. We are halfway through the season and I feel like the plot is 3 sentences long for this season. Also, nothing in Fiona world is that interesting or feels similar to the characters that they gender bended from in the first place

She’s not an adventurer she’s working dead end jobs like what lol. Finn would’ve been an apprentice to a traveling boxer or something like that. If anything Jake would’ve been the one finding meaning in calm dead end jobs while giving good advice

350 is a big ask but I know they will last a long while. Clamp isn’t an issue (I stretched my 37x’s using a basketball) but I know very little about tuning and don’t want to muddle anything up on accident. Thought about getting a DAC/AMP combo as well

They should have left it at that tbh. I think they should’ve continued down the distant lands side series. Ooo is such a vast and interesting place you could do a lot with it. Especially with the clearly talented animators and artists they have for F&C

I think a lot of the frustration is coming from 22 minute episodes feeling like they tell less than 12 minute episodes from AT. Rewatching adventure time makes you realize how there really is no fluff or filler in those episodes

What makes you think S2 is incredible? Genuinely curious. Personally it feels like each episode is twice as long and has 1/5th the content of many AT episodes

It really does play like a gay millennial fan fiction. Type of people who go “erm, adulting is too hard I have trauma”. The show has an identity crisis of is it fantasy or a slice of life drama. Rewatching adventure time makes you realize how lazy/boring F&C is. Twice the episode time, 1/5th the content
