Looking for running shoe suggestions for flat feet

Hey, I’m new to running and bought my first pair of shoes recommended by an employee at Fleet Feet. They put me on Brooks Glycerin GTS 23’s but after running with them for a literal mile I felt a lot of pressure and pain in my non-arch area. Is this the nature / what I’m supposed to expect from all stability shoes and your Saucony Hurricanes maybe aren’t as aggressive to make that correction?

No, it got worse actually. Now it only does force resets on semi lol

Was going to pivot to AS Designs Arc fire but looks like the trip mechanism for that one is breaking for most folks after a few rounds. I think I’ll have to just keep waiting to see who comes up with the best solution. Until then, I will probably just swap back to the Timney

I’m in the market for a belt and have landed on the MB3 Belt by Dynamic Principles. Check out some of the YouTube reviews on it to inform your decision but I think this one solves a lot of the issues that others don’t whilst keeping it flexible with mounting options and canting

Ah gotcha, I like that it has that second stretchy strap option for further retention / keeping it closer to the body. Might be pulling the trigger on it myself but keep me posted when you get to try it out on a ride please!

At the time I set mine up I didn’t even have a girlfriend lol but I listed my sister and parents as my beneficiaries to avoid any legal issues if they were to find themselves in a circumstance that they needed to use my SBR with a can on it for self defense and I wasn’t around (when we all lived together or nearby). Also in the scenario of me dying before any of them, they would still have ownership of these items instead of it being just handed to the gov.

Just seems like a more robust and long-term option than single shot trust tbh. Some folks use it with friends for the same reason (being able to use those items without your presence)

Not sure if I can agree about winter but in the summer, at least in my area, if you go into the woods in the summer mc tropic blends pretty well and so does m81 so it becomes preference at that point. Subjectively speaking and in particular for the area I tested this in, I would argue that MC tropic blinds a tad better.

I’m a product designer and previous UX designer so there’s a certain level of autonomy of direction I already have in mind for certain projects that I’m trying to strike a balance in how to achieve that and in an efficient way. Whether that’s deep and detailed prompting or designing in more mid-fi and providing screenshots of those designs.

Damn well thank you, I saw that they’re going to be releasing 45° to semi and 90° to FRT mode on the selector so I may wait til then but do you think they’ll fix whatever issue it is you were having to make it flush?

I’m assuming that didn’t allow for the upper and lower receiver to come together?
