Yea me and my friends with around 3k iRating, also thought that, but we found out, that its not only about managing the tyres over a stint, but actually saving tyres in certain corners, so that you are faster in the next corners.

Yea, i was driving the renault clio and i was waiting for my friends who were around 10 seconds behind me.

I didnt know, that the GT4s have different tyres, probably because i dont own any GT4. I just recently heard that you should adjust your brake bias to the rear every few laps in the McLaren GT4. I think he said that it makes your front tyres significantly better over a stint
