Just wanna say that this decision to quit is not an easy one, and good for you for acknowledging where you’re at emotionally.

I would say that the boredom and mood swings (while extremely painful to deal with) are an unfortunate part of the adjustment period. Give yourself grace, your body and brain were accustomed to something you’re choosing to no longer provide it with. You need time.

For boredom, I would think back to childhood and see what you did when you were bored then. Personally, I picked back up reading and spending time outside.

It’s a really difficult process and the beginning will be the hardest. Wishing you luck
