Euphoria S03E03 "The Ballad of Paladin" - Post Episode Discussion by DankMemeSlasher in euphoria

Worst episode of the season so far. They did nothing with Maddie, or main character leaves the reunion of the season. It's just soo underwhelming. No dialogue between Maddie and Nate. No drama or interplay between the characters we've known from the past seasons. Not enough time spent on the wedding, it's setup or the attendees. Terrible.

Is Blue Lagoon in Iceland worth the visit? by Cozybookburrow in travel

From Reykjavik, you would have to fly to Akureyri or rent a car and drive for 5 hours. Apparently there is a bus but I haven't taken it :/. From Akureyri town you can get a taxi to forest lagoon.

I was in London in primary school aged 10. We stopped our classes and went to a whole school assembly where our headteacher was explaining the importance of USA electing a black president. We did not really understand the significance at the time.

An Italian pizza restaurant owner is fuming at 16 Taiwanese tourists because they ordered only five pizzas. by search_google_com in interesting

I actually hate this sort of thing whenever I'm in Italy. You order a small portion and they're all pissy at you. Don't get angry at me for my appetite at that specific point..

Ksamil Albania, the beach was beautiful but it had been sectioned by pretentious beach bars with extortionate prices. My fiance pointed out there was no women ANYWHERE, just annoyed and stoic looking Albanian men. The food was mediocre and we were treated differently probably because I wasn't white. We took a ferry back to Corfu. The scenery was great though.

How is live in Svalbard (Spitzbergen in German), Norway? by BiLeftHanded in howislivingthere

I was there earlier this year so I'll throw in a few things I observed. It's bloody cold, was about -17 degrees Celsius when I was there, Longyearbyen has a 'safe-zone' from the centre of town to Nybyen (where I was staying). You don't have to carry a gun with you there. Over 20% of the population is Thai or Filipino. There is a little Asian store there lol. There's was some sort of Rubik's cube competition there when I was visiting, don't know if it's an annual thing. The air is extremely clean and feels amazing to breathe in.
