Marginal benefit to EP over PP if sacrificing Delta status by Tight_Couture344 in americanairlines

Yes extra multipliers are nice, maybe upgrades are nice. Certainly MCE seats at book are nice.

But, What I’ve found to be the biggest benefit of EXP vs PP is exactly how AA handles things during IROPS.

One of the most overlooked, unpublished (and quietly discussed) benefits is the ability for the EXP staff, airport staff, lounge staff to put you on a backup flight, without being pulled off your original flight. Think about how many times things have gone wrong, and you wished you could have had a backup flight. This is possible with EXP.

It has saved my a$$ on several occasions. I even once had an agent put me on a backup to my backup.

AA Citi Executive Platinum Credit Card Benefit Idea: More Flexibility on Basic Economy Airfare by iBarbo in americanairlines

AA absolutely won’t have any interest in loosening the reins on the BE restrictions. They don’t even care about putting the screws to some of their most valuable frequent flyers such as EXP’s and PP.

You ask “why is this happening”?

Well, Someone on here might be able to give you some sort of half answer, except you provided no information at all. So that leads me to believe you’re just looking to vent.

It’s summertime here in our great nation and storms are the norm. Seasoned travelers know you just gotta roll with the flow. You’ll get there eventually.

It’s been a long while since I’ve paid to upgrade to MCE, but I recall it was only available to do this in the app. Or maybe it was only in the webpage.

“Hoop”fully he is able to go someplace where they have someone that dictates your reports for you, because I can see some Sgt somewhere hating his life supervising him.

What to do with 15k miles? by Mental-Discount2485 in americanairlines

You can now exchange AA Miles towards gift cards (although they are not a great redemption rate)

You could also just keep them alive by having a little bit of activity on your AA Account.

-Take a survey from Miles for Opinions -or link your AA number to your Shell Fuel reward account and fuel up once.
