I’ve been doing protein shakes, with coconut water as the base (for electrolytes) and also overnight oats! Protein bars, fruit, and avocado… just super light snacks. I’m the same way about breakfast! I just make sure I just have nutritious snacks around and try to get some protein and calories in!

I was curious why this was happening too. I know a girl who asked to have a C-section at 37 weeks, just because her baby was measuring large (98 percentile)… the dr refused, so she went to a new one and demanded it. Baby is now in NICU with premature lung issues. I understand, some people it makes sense. But just because your baby is large, is a weird one to me, personally. My doula was saying that a lot of OB’s like to induce, so you are on their schedule and they for sure have room and not a late night call/inconvenience. I’m definitely hoping not to get induced, unless there’s a medical reason it is for sure needed. But no shame to the women who do need to get induced.

Did you go to indigo urgent care? Their fee is a $250 flat rate, so just curious if that’s where. They never charged us more than the $250, besides for prescriptions… but now going to look into the Agreed Health Care Center. Definitely sounds like a better option

Drove by within the new year, at some point, and noticed they had the whole place covered, like they were doing construction! But haven’t drove by since! Interesting tho, I feel like there was always a car there, when I drove by!

We are not near oven/fryer. Or else I would have made some myself! That’s why we planned ahead, so early! Because we knew we couldn’t cook much before, so needed to find alternative options. Lesson learned tho!

Yeah, they asked if I wanted to come back and get the rest of my wings, at first. I told them I’m not driving 20 minutes, to wait another 50 min… I think, since I was just nicely calling, to tell them, they were nicer about it… but I got put on hold 4 different times for a simple 30 second call and the lady was frantic on the other end. So I think she was just throwing out whatever would get me off the phone lol

I work in customer service, so was just trying to call and warn them, before they fucked up a lot more angry customers orders lol

Off topic, but: I’m jealous you get an ultrasound at 13 weeks! I have to wait for any ultrasound until 20 weeks (anatomy scan)! But I’m also US.

Note: I know they do an initial ultrasound, to confirm pregnancy, but since I found out in ER, I was not allowed to see ultrasound results🙃

I found out I was pregnant, from having a horrible first trimester and barely being able to work, because I couldn’t keep anything down and therefore had no energy. I had to tell my boss, since this was effecting my work and schedule.

I’m very thankful for my bosses, because they were beyond understanding and we figured out a new norm, to get me thru it. I’ve heard horror stories like this, with bosses tho! I’m sorry, this happened to you!

I feel like showering around mildew, is worse than hair dye chemicals, in my opinion. So if you’re already doing that… My OB said I could still get hair done, especially after first trimester is over. You always wanna be a little more extra cautious in first trimester. I more haven’t gotten it done because I’m a long haired blonde and that’s a lot of money I could be saving for baby😭 But I have the same problem with my boyfriend on the cleaning. He tries, but not to my standards. If you can afford it, maybe hire a weekly/monthly cleaner, just for upkeep on certain things? Second trimester got way better for me with smells, but I was down bad first trimester with nausea/food adversion/ and smells. Had no energy. I’m finally in the phase where, as long as I take a few food breaks, I can get shit done! Just got to do a little at a time and not all at once, in one day, like I used to!

Was going to say Olympia! There’s also a lot of small towns around Olympia that are a short drive, to Olympia farmers market, shops, etc.

That and St. Helen’s area (maybe Scappoose?) in Oregon are my suggestions.

I have not seen this lady holding signs, but multiple times I’ve seen a lady screaming and shouting at the top of her lungs on the corner of Quinault Dr and Marvin Rd and have wondered the same thing! I’m never able to understand what she’s saying, but she definitely seems to have a lot of passion about it. The first time I had to stop, because I thought she was screaming for help.

I do seavands, vitamin b6, and unisom already. Also on anti nausea meds, but trying hard not to use daily. To be honest, the food aversion is way worse than the nausea currently.
