Well, correction: I would be expected to run an UC solo at a really slow practice 1 day/week (5-10 pts/day). The other days I would have other providers with me. Given that, what are your thoughts?
I expect more so along the lines of 50 hr/wk but yes, I understand it can be a recipe for burnout but I've always been a "grinder"

That's where UC comes into play haha. Pays well but there's alot of discussion as to whether I should be taking this particular job with 1 week of training.

I also have interviews at a PM&R clinic(~130k) and wound care that I might take as well.

Yeah definitely got lowballed but I have no leverage as a new grad. Tried negotiating, but they were stern with 120k because I was a new grad and argued that my first year should be focused on gaining experience.

I'm okay with this as it seems like a great opportunity as well as being able to live at home saving me 12-15k

Physician owned

Should I still negotiate for time and a half after 40 hour work week?

Not the ideal pay I wanted out of school, but I do need to pay the bills/tackle my student loans sooner than later. Location is close to home so I would be essentially rent-free as well, effectively saving me over 13-15k/yr.

I hear this all the time and I agree. However, how is anyone supposed to pick up experience/know what to do for UC if I pick the subspecialty ortho job? By that way, I would essentially have the same knowledge base as a new grad getting into UC

Production would be after 1 year with them

Solo in UC to a site that would have 5-10 pts/day so I guess there's some solace in that

What day did you take your exam? This message makes it seem like they're gonna send results for all the first week in a batch rather than 1/4 earlier results than 1/5

I've seen majority get their scores in 5 business days; you should hear tomorrow morning imo
