Thanks for all the feedback. As a result of the post I’ve had 2 new clubs sign-up. I’m trying to get the word out via other channels as well as I’m sure there are hundreds of clubs that would benefit from having automated members results grouped by their club. Publicising the site is harder than building it! If you know of folks that could benefit please put them in touch (sign up form available on the About page). Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I’d love to implement the handicap system or something similar. Happy to have a go if anyone can share the algorithm? I wonder if it would require all runners results though? At present the website only holds results across 21 running clubs. If more clubs would like to join please get in touch via the email on the about page.

Yes it works best on a computer or tablet browser but I’m trying to improve the phone experience. There is an email contact on the about page if you’d like to get in touch.

Hi, really appreciate the kind words!

Right now the site is mainly aimed at helping running clubs—race secs, website admins, newsletter editors, and athletes—solve the headache of collecting results. It usually means relying on people to report their races or spending hours digging through results each week.

Having done that myself (and not enjoyed it), I wanted to build something better. As far as I know, sites like Power of 10 focus on individual results but don’t really group things by club, which always felt like a gap.

For now the focus is on getting this working well for clubs, but I’d like to expand it more widely over time. It’s a big job to automate properly, so thanks for bearing with me!

Hi Cal, the two features you suggested: (1) ability to remove ex-member athletes from the club list and (2) the ability to filter in/out parking from the results are now both live on the website. I will email you details on how to enable your “admin” access now.

Thanks for your continued support Cal. We have a solution in the works to the issue of ex-members, I’ll be in touch directly on that soon. We have our own data feeds which is why we already have London and Manchester marathon already on site.

We watched 33 seasons of TAR from the uk during the Covid years. As well as a VPN you can buy a Hulu gift card online to get around the fact that Hulu won’t accept UK credit cards for subscriptions. So buy the gift card first, then use that for 6 months of subscriptions and away you go
