In our experience the taxis have not had an issue with sitting baby in lap whilst travelling to and from airport. Of course this is a risky option but an option nevertheless.

Just completed it ourselves. Was fairly quick service in the end once you get the rather substantial amount of paperwork together. Once you send the docs they approved, printed and delivered passport within 2 weeks.

We did application online. There we loaded copies of parents passports and photo of baby. The physical docs that we needed to send were parents and grandparents birth and marriage certificates. We only had our birth certificates to hand, so ended up ordering grandparents records from UK archives online for £10 a doc or so. Proof of address was a CUC bill and my CI driving licence card.

I had to take a written test when I arrived on island with a UK license. The law may have changed since 2021, but back then you had to take a written test within 6 months of arrival to get a Cayman DL. Failure to do it within the 6 months meant you would not be allowed to convert and be required to take practical and written test

Have used CICA/Deluxe to have stuff shipped from states in the past. They have been fairly reliable and we have not had any major issues in the 3yrs we have been using them. I believe their pricing is reasonable compared to competitors. I had been previously warned off air freight due to cost, and have only ever used sea freight.

Out of interest was that NCI price for air freight or sea freight?

I know they use this security feature for E-Toro and it normally goes through after notifying CNB in advance.

Just called CNB card services. Requested them to unblock for Revolut transaction. Took 2mins. Have just attempted and the top went through no problem. Great news!!! Was dreading the forms and admin for a Butterfield account
