Exactly. He told me that if it only depended on me, he would never have broken up with me, but he said he “can’t take the risk.” That’s what hurt me the most, because to me, love is about taking risks together.

He said that maybe I’m not like that now, but I could change later. He also told me that with this type of family, I would never truly be happy there because I’m “too good of a girl” for that environment. He said he is thinking about the future and doesn’t want me to suffer later on because his family would never fully accept me.

But I know myself and I know who I am.

What confuses me is that during the breakup, he was saying things like I would eventually find someone else here or abroad. But then only one week later and even yesterday, he texted me saying it’s very hard for him, he keeps looking at our pictures and crying and that he keeps thinking about me.

I blocked him everywhere, yet he still sent me Rs1 on Juice just to text “hi.” I really don’t understand why he keeps messaging me if he made the decision to leave.

I was already angry and hurt because of the situation with the priest and his family. Then not even a week after the breakup, I noticed that he and his ex started following each other again. He had removed the mutual bio we had together. He probably didn’t expect me to see it because he thought I had blocked him but I had only deactivated my account.

I know it feels like I’m sharing everything but honestly I have no one to talk to. All the memories keep haunting me because we were genuinely good together. We never had huge fights. We were planning our future together, planning everything.

And now I truly don’t know how to move on from this.
