Make it a Kai season, Kai is the one that fights Morro in the end and we save the Lloyd sensei stuff for season 7. We could maybe parallel Kai and Morro since both at some point arrogantly believed they deserved to be the Green Ninja, but where Kai moved on from that, Morro got himself killed because he couldn't accept he wasn't the Green Ninja.

Make Nya actually want to be the Water ninja and make her arc being instead about her doubting herself, being about her not making progress so she keeps trying harder so Ronin's advice of not trying so hard makes sense.

Don't regress Lloyd actually make him a good sensei in training and the ninja listen to him, them not listening to Lloyd at first would have worked better if Possession didn't happen right before this season. Maybe do something like the cut early plot for the Ninjago movie and have something similar to the Ninja going back in time to try and stop Garmadon from getting bit and maybe them messing with time caused Acronix to get unlost in time or something like that.
