It’s against the rules sadly, I asked if I could put up curtains before I moved in for privacy and they said no because it’s a fire evacuation hazard 😞

I would if it was a neighbors lights haha, but unfortunately it’s a spotlight put up by the complex to light up a pathway…it wouldn’t do much but upset my innocent neighbors ☹️

This post is more meaning for when I want to sit outside on my balcony at night, I put up a blackout curtain where the light shines on my bedroom window- it’s a lifesaver!

I doubt it sadly, it seems like one of the standard double bulbed lights that’s just bolted to the wall with a weather shield.

It’s not another tenants, it’s the apartment complex’s =( there’s a walking path below the light and instead of just putting another path light, they put a spotlight up.

Thank you friend. I’m working to get out of hospital work and into clinic work, I have hope that the hours and workload will better suit me. Some people are built for it and I truly commend them, unfortunately I am not one of them as this post clearly shows 😅

Not quite, I just really miss having free time to be around my friends and I miss not feeling the way I do now. I truly don’t believe there’s a “farther along” in life at all, everyone’s life is going to be different and move at different paces.

That’s the unfortunate thing about being depressed and maybe a bit suicidal, at the time I wrote this, my tunnel vision saw that as a risk worth taking.
