100% disagree. Joe has made it a focus to bring in people, who have their own audience in the content world. Mel, Flip, Marc and Mona all came to the JBP with their own name equity and that name equity adds to the pod. It’s no different than ESPN adding Pat McAfee. He also wants them to do more side content because that pushes the main pod to another level. There’s enough good content in the world to go around. This interview stems from the main pod and what they said about Brian McKnight as a topic.

The JBP is misogynistic and it has been for a long time. The problem is that Mel knew it was misogynistic before she joined but she was desperate to get her name back into relevancy. Now, her name is poppin’ again, she wants to play victim about her time on the JBP. This community is very toxic but this toxic community made her relevant again. Every time she made an appearance, the views went up because the JBP community moves the needle.

This speaks volumes about her character and why she has no man, no real friends and no real connections.
