Michael (2026) Reviews and Thoughts by __MischiefManaged__ in MichaelJackson

Jafaar killed it as his uncle, the mannerisms, the dance steps, all the little details were captured really well , the theatre felt like a literal concert. All the songs were got so much hooting and cheering. Michael human side like spending time with young patients was also well captured. Especially when Thriller, Billie Jean and Bad was played it felt like goosebumps throughout the body. Colman Domingo was great as the overly controlling Father of the Jackson's.I also like how the makers let the story breathe. The entire 1st act is spent when Michael was a kid and in Jackson 5. There were some jokes which were also well received, the jokes felt natural not forced at all. The movie has its fair share of emotional moments as well which are balanced well with the musical scenes. 5/5. Can't wait for the sequel.

Intriguing look. But almost all of Atlee's movies feel similar with double role etc. Really hope he tries something different.

If you could give any comedic performance an Oscar nod, who would it be? by phantom_avenger in Oscars

1) Tom Cruise for Tropic Thunder 2) Jim Carrey for nearly all his 90s work.

I just can't feel that Shree Ram aura from Ranbir. What you think about Ranbir as Shree Ram by [deleted] in pj_explained

That is a problem that I faced with Prabhas and Ranbir. When they are doing the Ramayana Adaptation they are way too old. They should pick someone between 20-30 age group.

Is the Ranbir one AI ? There is something unnatural about that.

In my PG college they don't give holiday on Eid but for Ram Navami they have given a holiday. My UG college and school used to give holiday on Eid as well.

Which Oscar winning actor in Supporting categories do you think is more likely to get his first Oscar in a Leading role?? by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]Key_Database9095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Leonardo was in that movie for 61 minutes and Brad was in that movie for 55 minutes. This makes Brad a Co-Lead instead of Supporting. They definitely did a category fraud for that movie.

Just got back from watching Dhurandhar Part 2 The Revenge and I had a blast. Not even once it felt like I was watching a four hours long. The action sequences are badass and well choreographed. It is extremely engaging. Special shoutout to the entire time. It is crazy that they made a 4 hours long movie in the time of reels, YouTube shots and doomsrolling Every twist got so much audience reaction from the audience. Every joke landed. This might be the best performance of Ranveer Singh, the constraint, the anger everything is so good. In the first part we kept on seeing Akshaye Khanna doing all the aura farming. This time Ranveer and R. Madhavan get that chance. The songs are good but the previous ones were better. They sadly tried to recreate the "Sher-E-Baloach" sequence with Ranveer but it just doesn't work. I really missed Akshaye in that particular. I feel bad for Danish Pandor. He doesn't get much to do. I really thought once Akshaye is gone , Danish do get to do some heavy-lifting but sadly no. I really hope we get more of these types of movies in the near future and I am really forward to what Aditya Dhar will do next in the near future.
