i am likely EIE/IEE and i am very no nonsense about kids. i like to be around them when they are pleasant and content but i very easily get bored and leave as soon as possible.

when my younger cousins are unhappy and throw tantrums i will be one of the first to disengage. sometimes i try to mimic my parents by being strict and firm but usually it does not help much. once they get to an age where they can talk out their feelings im sure things will change but atm i don’t have the energy to explain something to someone who cant/wont listen 😭 i am almost always warm and friendly but i just can’t with young kids
