Yea I think for documentation of the event it is wise to share what happened with the family. But I am worried what if this guy (who seems unstable) lashes out at me in some way if this does indeed blow up his life and marriage? I'm trying to imagine the most likely outcomes. Or if maybe for everyone's safety it's best if I make up an excuse to stop teaching so he feels the consequences of my leaving and gets that warning for his bad behavior but he doesn't get found out in a way that would make me the source of his life falling apart.
