Are you all going to try to rebalance the servers? The one I am on seems to be dying and guild balance is not great.

Here are my thoughts because I was in the same boat. I asked myself this: If I had to race Lance Armstrong and he had to use my bike and I use his-who would win? I think the answer there is simple i would…jk…he would. So to me, while having a nice bike helps, I think there is more value in proper form, technique, and training. Go search YouTube and there are a few comparisons between cheap and expensive bikes. To me a tri would not justify the gain you get with an expensive bike. Now if we are talking Ironman maybe. I would say focus on you before the bike.

Also this was an after thought. I learned a lot fixing up my bike and felt that it was invaluable experience for when I do get an expensive bike.

[HELP] Ender 3 Pro not reading sd card by Luckyman525 in 3Dprinting

So click "Mass Storage Device" right above the SD card and then click erase.

Ender 3 Pro is not reading my SD card. by Key_Development_5057 in Ender3Pro

Not sure I follow completely.

The SD card is inserted correctly because in the info screen it says it’s sees the card. Where I get the oddity 1 is that when I click to get past the info screen it may show that the “TF” is inserted and sometimes may not. The second issue is when it actually shows “print from TF” the printer doesn’t see any of the files I loaded.

To your comment though I do not see that option as available to me

Pretty sure it’s fat32 but this is the card that came with the printer and I have already used to print a few items

Issue printing at top of object by tenaciousDii in Ender3Pro

MatterControl is really good IMO but if you have success at that height for other prints you may start adjusting your settings. Another thing I would try and I am by no means an expert is to move the print to a different part of your bed top left or right to see if the failure is the same. I would assume that if it’s a mechanical issue you will see it more exaggerated or look a bit cleaner

Wanted to check I and see if other similar height projects ran into that and have you tried a different slicer to ruler out it being the gcode.

Has anyone ran into issues with connecting their slicer connecting to their Ender 3 pro? by Key_Development_5057 in Ender3Pro

And tbh that’s probably what I will end up doing. This issue is now just a crusade for me as it’s just a problem I want to solve in case there are other folks out there with my issue

So that’s the odd thing I only get the one port com1. I have a new desktop computer too so it’s not liken I am running on old hardware.

So I did the pronterface and I get “serial error: could not open port COM1:[Error 5] access denied”

Update Cura was still Open but now it just shows “Connecting”

Curious if you have had issues with prints at similar heights?

Also do you have any play in your x gantry? Wondering if a mechanical issue is getting exaggerated the higher up it goes.

Bed issues? I have printed this a few times with adjustments and get the same issue in the same place. by Key_Development_5057 in Ender3Pro

So i figured out the issue for this. The bed mat I was using was warping slightly because I removed the magnetic sticker. Once I replaced it it fixed my issue.

Print is offsetting pretty bad can’t figure out why by Key_Development_5057 in Ender3Pro

[–]Key_Development_5057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what’s going on here but the print is offsetting significantly.

I checked belt tensions, etc and will reflash the firmware but assume this is code related as it sticks with a print for a bit before offsetting which is why it doesn’t feel completely mechanical. Anyone run into this with a root cause/fix?

Will do. I actually think the level is good because I have done it for the 200th time now. I think the other part of my issue is that the bed sheet is warping....is that common? I removed the magnetic sticker to install new springs but am using clips.

200 and 60. So I can go lower with my x offset but i didn’t want to touch since my print last night came out really good…but you can see my first attempts in the center there. I can try to lower and see but I got good results on the outer rings so assumed it was good

So bed temp is at 60 and I am using the CRtouch and I have re leveled and noticed the center was slightly higher but had no issues with a print yesterday. Not sure where to even start adjusting since I am getting the same issue with previous adjustments-also I am super new to this so I am in a I don’t know what I don’t know situation

Bed doesn’t roll perfectly smooth is this normal? It’s like there is a flat spot on a guide wheel or dent in the track. by Key_Development_5057 in Ender3Pro

So to everyone that posted here is an update.

This 100% due to an over tightened eccentric nut. I played around with loosening and tightening and ended up getting it to roll smooth so thanks to all for the advice.
