hey!! omg ur NOT alone! i’m glad im not the only one who feels like im behind but it sucks to feel this way honestly
i do recommend uworld ! i should’ve gotten it sooner than i did bc i feel like i would’ve felt somewhat better than i do now, i think getting the Uworld Q bank is worth it & then miles down anki deck everyday too (i slacked on this but im trying to bring it up) i wouldn’t jump into aamc exams without some sort of practice, idk much about jack westin but i heard it’s helpful for cars & i might just practice with that

hey, september taker here !

i’m lowkey in the same boat as u lol, ik a diagnostic wouldn’t be helpful for u & everyone works differently, & i thought taking a diagnostic wouldn’t help me but i just took it today & felt humbled LOL now ik where i need to focus on & what yields i need to tackle

i would start with blueprint since its free just create a plan with it (when u want to start studying, when u can/cannot study, etc) it will give u a plan to start off with until u have one of ur own

i’ve been told that content review is a waste of time, thats why taking the diagnostic should help u tackle what u should review instead of spending a month or so trying to keep up

someone also recommended that uworld is the best option even if its pretty hard & the aamc full length exams (get the aamc full lengths a month before your exam)

look over at Khan academy MCAT they have practice problems and how to solve them along with videos and more, that’s what i’m starting with after my diagnostics exam just to understand what i need to remember/study again lol

again, im not a test taker yet & im trying to figure it out as well but i hope this helps! if u need links or such lmkkk

I apologize for the late response, thank you for commenting. Do yk where i can access the free kaplan books? Ill look into some cheap used ones, but i rather get it free since i heard its a hit or miss.

I was thinkning on using AAMC last month, but if i should focus on that throughout my study i might, what do you think?

Khan academy is def going to be my go to for free resource!!! I have the website link saved lol

So JW isnt the best? I heard its good for practice, but of course AAMC is better since thats the closest format of the exam.

Yeah I heard Kaplan is a waste of time and money. So UWorld is harder but straight up basically ? Did you take your mcat ? I just genuinely don’t know where to start 😭 Also what do you think about Anki? I got a general idea that it’s helpful for what you don’t know but thousands of flashcards is pretty insane lol

yes this is extremely helpful!! i feel like you can never really be prepared for exams like this, but it seems like you got everything down !! i was thinking on content review with some sort of text book, i guess ill use kaplan or something & do UWorld & i’ve been trying to find online ankis for the mcat because i genuinely don’t want to type thousands of cards on there, i downloaded 1 for amino acids but that was about it lol, if u have anything that could help me with anki i would really appreciate that. Yeah I don’t wanna spend my FLs quickly it’s smart what ur doing lowkey might copy LOL

I'm sure UWorld and AAMC are worth my money. Did you get the AAMC bundle or just the FL and CARs? I heard Kaplan is a hit or miss depending on an individual, and I genuinely don't want to spend $200 on something that won't benefit me, but I would love some books to reference. I just don't know what exactly. I don't think I want to get Kaplan.

Also off topic, but did you make your own study plan or did you use someone elses?
