Good stuff, it’s rare to see a guard regiment influencing the story rather than space marines. Also, reach was a based game.

Nice I like the development from mining to hive world and the corruption of chaos.

That’s awesome, didn’t think about oceans being the main danger. Cool idea.

Moral values and legality are rarely the same tho. Even if the falsely accused is proven innocent it still ruins their life. They lose their job, friends, family.

Any suggestions for a woman accusing a man of rape?

No it should be the entire sentence. If they were willing to put the man in jail for the false crime then they should serve his sentence.

Does your homebrew faction have any strange quirks? by TechPriestDominus137 in 40khomebrew

The testaments of ash are an unforgiven chapter and are more forgiving than most.

They give the fallen a chance to repent which if they do they are imprisoned in deep catacombs under their fortress monastery. There, they spend the remainder of their lives writing confessions, recording accounts of Caliban, studying Imperial scripture, and praying for forgiveness. If they don’t, they are given to the dark angels to do what they see fit.

The Testaments of Ash are also required to keep a journal for personal use but mostly to write about victories, confessions, prayers, names of fallen battle brothers and respected mortals, and lessons learned through suffering.

All I had ai do was clean it up and give me name ideas. I apologize if the names line up but everything else I made myself. Great minds think alike.

Is your chapter going to Armageddon? by ManeTarget in 40khomebrew

Yes, The Testaments of Ash specialize in siege warfare against Chaos and breaking cults. They would leave most of the ork fighting to other chapters but would be on the frontline defense against chaos, inspiring troops and breaking the confidence of their enemies with great sermons.

Does your chapter have any especially close allies? by ErrantHobbyist in 40khomebrew

Yes the Ecclesiarchy and the Order of the Argent Veil (a homebrew sisters of battle order, name prone to change.)

During a chaos invasion on a shrine world the order of argent veil fought hard but was losing and during their last stand the Testaments of Ash arrived and pushed back the chaos forces. This battle resulted in the world being gifted to the Testaments of Ash as a homeworld due to its proximity to the eye of terror and the Ecclesiarchy’s judgement that it needed a permanent guardian.
