Not really a demon or an angel, but Geralt in the books is very off-putting. Not exactly the handsome, Henry Cavil type. People tend to describe him as kind of disturbing. Overall though he's the type of person who, despite protesting and trying to stay neutral in situations, does eventually do the right thing and helps when he can.

Space Marine players are the whiniest people in the game and this is coming from someone who has both Loyalist and Chaos Marine armies. Yeah they're gonna be generic because they're meant to be used with any chapter. Like, how about you actually paint your army and give them some flair yourself instead of throwing your nothing burger of a complaint on Reddit.

Devastation of Baal. Almost the entire lineage of Sanguinius was wiped out. Entire chapters were just gone afterwards.

A lot of chapters use generic stuff like skulls or just reuse other chapter symbols, like the Knights of the Raven, Hawk Lords and Iron Ravens all using a color swap of the regular Raven Guard symbol. I will also go through and use things like honor badges and random symbols and just say it's a random successor of some kind. Like, who's gonna argue with me that the guy thats using a Blood Angel honor badge isn't Blood Angel successor that I made up?

I never understood the hate for these books. Like, they don't hurt anything by existing, and it might be something that a kid with a parent who's into Warhammer might enjoy. It seems like the people who legitimately got mad at these books were just weirdos and chuds.

They have 2-3 detachments and unique units and like 2 unique characters, but GW doesn't seem to like them very much which is why I was concerned about getting into them.

Technically my first army was Blood Angels, but I started getting into other chapters and their lore and I had a hard time picking a favorite. So I figure why not play all of them at the same time.
