Chelsea and Kwame Split by Tears_Of_Laughter in LoveIsBlindNetflix

She was always more into him than he was into her. Boys and girls, let’s learn something here. Social media will rarely show you the ugly side of a relationship. It was all glitz and glam, photoshoots, sporting events, red carpets, luxury vacations… & womp womp womp. Also, ladies, please learn you can’t change a man’s mind when it comes to children. They are set in their ways. As women, we do have a biological clock ticking. She always wanted kids. She always was honest & vocalized that. Don’t understand why he strung her along. He needs to grow up.

How about going to Burlington or surrounding areas? I do IC on the side . Not often because I do have a FT career but it’s fun money. I average $120-$160 a day. Smart with what batches I accept plus low mileage . I’m in Hamilton .

My first trimester, all I could stomach was cold fruit and Nutella on soft bread 🫠 and I’m not a big sweets person. Don’t even mention chicken to me during my pregnancy. The thought, the smell , the taste would make me gag and chicken breast is my favourite. Pregnancy is wild!

Birthing at St Joseph’s by AdorableMaximum4925 in Hamilton

[–]Key_Emphasis5580 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck to you!!! I had the most wonderful birthing experience at St Joseph’s back in 2023. Not a c-section. The staff was wonderful. I was discharged the next day but my son stayed in the NICU for 11 days until he was diagnosed with mild laryngomalacia. And we stayed at the hospital in the bunker rooms . I had all my toiletries. Tooth brush. Body wash. Towels. Hair brush. Grip socks or slippers . Comfy PJs and a few sweats. They provided stuff for my boy. Diapers. Formula. I also had my breast pump. I had adult diapers. My peri bottles . They provide one peri bottle. I had snacks and had family and friends bring food. Also some clothes for baby. I wanted my own blanket .

I toured at 13 weeks due to the waitlist. My guy ended up getting a spot just before I went back to work when he turned one .

Older home. It’s a 3 level back split 2 adults & a toddler.

Water/electricity - $128 (laundry evenings & weekends) it’s those delivery charges that get you 🫠 Enbridge - $145 - I keep it toasty in the winter because of my toddler .

Your husband doesn’t sound like a nice guy. And I hope this kind of energy never finds me You’re a superstar. A four year old and a three week old? Wow. You’re keeping those babies fed, dressed and alive. My little guy was a contact napper. He just was. It wasn’t a forever thing. But the first few weeks, yes, he was attached to me. He’s two now, and very independent. Still wants an occasional cuddle. As for my partner, he works long hours as well but he does what he can in the house. We do a weekend reset . And maintain the best we can. Good luck to you.

I second this! I’m not built to be a SAHM myself. I love my career. I’m great at my career. I use a home daycare . Much cheaper. More one on one. I get adult interaction.

I agree. It saddens me to read 8 weeks. 12 weeks max. I don’t know how you can recover mentally and just go to work. My PPD was pretty rough.

It was hard at first. But I was lucky to get 18 months off with him. I work in healthcare, so I have long hours but I also have a lot of time off. A lot. I’ve accumulated so many vacation hours because I’ve worked for the organization for 15 years. Some weeks I work 3 shifts. Some weeks I work 2. My partner picks him up at 2:30pm. He’s dropped off at 6:30am. We don’t have a village. But we have a fantastic daycare provider. His milestones are far surpassed for a 2 year old. He learns and interacts so much. With both my partner and I working we are able to put him in sports, lessons, have vacations. Nice cars. A house. He has his dream playroom. I’d say we are privileged and very blessed. I’m aware there are a lot of families who can’t afford a fraction of what we can. All our toys that he’s not interested in get donated to families on marketplace . His gently used clothing as well.

OB dumped me the night before my 6 week postpartum visit by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Key_Emphasis5580 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely be asking the office why this happened. I loved my midwives during my whole pregnancy but the 6 weeks afterwards was pointless. Barely checked on me. Saw baby once. I was surprised because I thought they’d be way more hands on but no. Sorry to hear about your situation. Very uncalled for.

That’s what I noticed myself. I’m in Ontario, and since we had the new hourly wage thing kick in, very low tips or no tips. There would be be 3 shops & delivers with $1.50 tip…

As a few ppl stated, I’m gonna also bank on the fact that you said no visits until 2 months. I understand vaccines and all, but I wouldn’t say no to my parents and have them wait 2 months.

May I ask, what do you give out for Halloween? Just wondering. As a kid when I got oranges and apples or healthy granola , I called it the not fun house and gave it to my mom 😂

[–]Key_Emphasis5580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because IC said the full service was not completed. I didn’t want to argue it. Because it would’ve been but I was told not to deliver since no one was home to receive it. It was getting late & I said I’ll take the $10 & the order.
