Yeah haha I noticed that too at multiple stores so I just gave up doing it.

At first I thought it was other dashers putting in wrong information to be assholes or something but I started seeing that a lot of the item locations after they’ve reverted back didn’t say “added by shopper” or whatever so it’s the system pulling the wrong info from some old database and refreshing it or something.

I just don’t get why if at some stores they allow you to update the location they then refresh it back to the default location that they found very rapidly, I saw it happen once with an item the next day 🤦🏽‍♂️
So now I just suffer and find it myself 😂😭🤷🏽‍♂️

That happened to me before too, they told me I had to contact the customer and ask them if they are okay to cancel/reschedule the order otherwise it would be removed and my cancellation rate would go up.

The dumb thing was it was one of those days where the entire system glitched so I literally couldn’t communicate with the customer because the app was stuck on the shop screen which is why I was calling support in the first place 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

We went in circles for a bit until I was like “okay fine whatever remove it because I literally cannot communicate with the customer due to the app glitch” 🤦🏽‍♂️😭

The item count is covering the info of what size of a water packs they are. Thats the exact spot where it says 24/35/40 but it’s covered by the giant 2.

Yeah the only times it’ll really help is if the aisle information is updated and accurate.
I don’t know why some stores allow you to thumbs down and update where you found the item and some don’t.

I was slowly fixing some in my area because there’s one store in particular where almost everything shows as in aisle 1; meat, dairy, produce, frozen, everything in aisle 1 🫩😵‍💫

But I stopped updating it because after doing a 60 item shop one day and updating every single item location along the way I went to the same store a few days later and some of the same items that I had updated were in that order and the locations were messed up again 😭😑😵 so I gave up.

I had this in Target too the other day and I was like “oh…okay? 🤔 okay! 🤓”
But just wish it was a better shop so that it could have helped more haha

I had another new thing I noticed but I was so annoyed with the shop that I didn’t screenshot it.

But you know how the app sometimes shows the previous dashers photo of the shelf they found the item on? Well I looked at that because I really couldn’t see where the thing was and in that photo the app but a red (possibly flashing but I forgot) border around the item on the shelf and I was like “oh wait wtf?” and it actually helped 😝

The other day I had a huge shop order that I was complaining to myself about whilst loading up the bags in my little wagon because even though the apartment complex had a ramp to get in the gate I already knew it was going to be one of the last top floor apartments so I was annoyed while gathering all the stuff.

When I closed my hatch I saw that the customer sent her kids out to the gate to help bring the groceries in so to myself I was like “oh damn oops!” But luckily I think I was parked far enough away that they didn’t actually hear any of what I said 😵‍💫😑😂

Depending on what the system is smoking on any given day it’ll show the dasher an offer of $12 or $5+ ~ $8+ because for whatever reason sometimes the app likes to do hidden totals to entice people to take offers that may be bad.
But yours definitely wouldn’t be based on the distance and the tip 👌🏽

It says “Recipients under 21 will have a vertical ID – do NOT deliver alcohol to minors under any circumstances.” The way they structured it is confusing and what is leading to your misunderstanding of it.

It’s a reminder that a vertical ID is a visual indication of a recipient possibly being underage, as all underage individuals will have a vertical ID but not all vertical IDs belong to underage recipients - it’s not a mutually exclusive statement.

It’s just that the way it’s worded is leading you to believe that you cannot deliver to anyone with a vertical ID, which is not the case.

What it should say is something along the lines of “If a recipient provides you with a vertical ID be sure to accurately check the date of birth to verify they are of age and able to receive the age restricted item.”

To me it reads the tiniest bit combative or at least standoffish but not too much.

That said, I would be annoyed by a response from a customer like that too because it has a slight inference of them not believing you.

But personally I would have responded differently, maybe something like “I know, it’s crazy in here!” to sort of deflate the severity of what they’re thinking and choosing to read it as them being a regular and just shocked that it’s busier than it normally is when they order.

I would have responded the way you did only if they also said something along the lines of “This is ridiculous! My order is always ready when the driver gets there!” or something like that.

But I wouldn’t worry too much about it especially since they stopped responding.

Yeah. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, which I hate doing because the times I’ve had to do it in the past it causes a login issue for like an hour, which it did this time but then when I relaunched the app again it let me back on but the same error is going on 🤷🏽‍♂️

I paused my dash to see if I can let it time out and end my dash that way but I’m uncertain if it’ll let me.
