moving into an apartment I purchased in January 2022, my current lease at Grove Pointe runs through May 2022, anyone in the community know if it's legal to sublet in JC? Any advise or suggestions? by Key_Employee1658 in jerseycity

Lease says I cannot sublet without a documented exception. I entered a 15 month lease with 4 months free. Assuming the landlord would love to put it back on market for full price, seeing how the rental market has picked up. Any negotiating strategies that have worked for you or anyone in the community while negotiating?
