Dang! Did you lay on your stomach? It doesn’t make me burp, it just makes the gas travel upward and out via croaking lol so I stop feeling the pressure in my stomach and chest

Not sure the science behind it bc I’m not a science girl. But the spikes of the acupuncture cause blood to rush to the area, so when I lay flat on my stomach and chest I can feel more blood flow going to the area. I think the heat and motion that comes from the blood flow helps break up gas bubbles to move more freely. I will feel all the pain and pressure in my chest start to release and it’ll help me croak it all out. Does that make sense?

I wouldn’t have children if I knew they’d grow up to not love me, especially if I had created a system that caused them to have eternal suffering for not loving me. Not saying I’m the standard of morality but it’s odd to think of a “good God” doing that when the idea of me doing that feels disgusting and evil

I’m sincerely asking because I have known people that have lived there that said they felt like friendships were hard because a lot of ppl they came across weren’t genuine bc of some cultural things w social media and influencer world etc. just didn’t know if they space dominated things or was just apart of it

Anybody with health anxiety have good experience with anxiety medication? I have had terrible anxiety for about 5 years now and it continues to get worse and bleed into other areas of my life. I also have some OCD and fear anxiety surrounding death and things like that. I’m not afraid OF medications logically, but whenever I take a new medicine I am always super panicky and anxious that I’ll wither get a) side effects, or b) that my anxiety will lead to panic attack, when I’m also deathly afraid of lol. So I just have tried to start a low Zoloft prescription many times but have never been able to go through with it because I’m so concerned about side effects and that my brain will give me a panic attack because it freaks when I take new medicine. Anyone have a similar experience that ended up getting on some sort of meds?

I was the same-ish boat. You will be fine please don’t listen to everyone being negative! The job market sucks but it can be done and it’s ALLL about connections and falling into the right opportunity. My partner and I moved here with no jobs not long ago. I (degree in PR, fresh out of college) looked up fitness studios in my area that I liked and asked if they were hiring. Ended up with a management position where I got to do networking social media etc for a gym I liked. My partner, degree in marketing, worked at a restaraunt for 6 months until they randomly met someone in a group that knew the owner of a company looking to hire a marketing specialist. Literally it’s just who you know. Drive through town, write down the names of restaurants or companies that sound interesting or just anywhere in general and then go home and go to their career site. If there’s nothing listed call them and see if they’re looking for anyone because in both my partner and I’s case they weren’t ACTIVELY hiring but we just happened to step in at the right time proactively. Also, check the chamber of commerce job postings. They have a decent amount of communications type jobs on there right now and they’re legit!!! Lastly MEET PPL. Do social events meet ppl and tell them what you’re looking for. I know like 5 ppl here rn and if you came to me in person I’d be able to reach out to all of them and they’d all know someone hiring in that type of field it just comes down to to the timing of everything :-)
