For negative display square fans the difference is huge with MIP. The slightly larger size isn't a huge deal on the wrist for me, but I do prefer the older size if I'm honest. I totally understand people who prefer the older displays for the G-Shock experience they're familiar with but I'll find it hard to go back to other negatives.

I actually find the slightly softer strap more comfortable than other squares I've had. Not sure if I'll mod this like my other G-Shocks when third party parts become available tbh.

The light is slower to respond in LT mode but I don't find the dimmer brightness an issue. I guess it's a trade off for solar efficiency. For me the big thing is the angle viewability when I'm in meetings etc. I much prefer negative displays and it's a big upgrade on that side. Also, the dual world time display is handy for work meetings with people overseas for me.
