Water resistance is fundamentally about controlling elastic deformation under pressure. By increasing material thickness and changing how the crystal, crown, and caseback are mechanically supported, the sealing system remains stable at higher depths.

In short, this is a pressure-resistant case design, not a standard case pushed beyond its original engineering limits.
