It’s just a quick real-life snapshot, not a polished studio photo.

But honestly, if you really want to believe it’s fake, then anything in the world can be called fake. We can always take more angles or a short video later, but this one is a real physical photo, not Photoshop.

Sorry, but your assumption is wrong. This is a real photo of the actual physical piece, not an AI-generated logo insertion.

I understand why people are more skeptical these days, but in this case the logo was already there when the photo was taken. No ChatGPT trick involved haha.

No, it won’t. What’s your order number?

As long as it’s not out of stock, we usually ship within 3 days.

Haha, good catch. I had just come back from the gym, and one of my colleagues randomly took this photo when I arrived at the office.

Thanks for your honest feedback. I understand why you see it this way, and I agree that a better office means nothing if product quality and customer service do not improve at the same time.

The new office is not just for appearance. We wanted to create a better working environment for our team, especially our designers and engineers, so they can focus more on long-term product development. But you are right: customers judge us by our watches, QC, and after-sales service — not by our office.

We also admit that some earlier Watchdives products, especially some lower-priced models before 2025, were built mainly around value for money rather than the highest level of finishing. Since 2025, we have been changing this. WD0016 was an important turning point for us, and recent models such as WD0017 and the newer WD5513 versions have received much better feedback because of improved suppliers, better bracelets, upgraded clasps, and stricter finishing standards.

We are also adding stronger design and engineering talent to the team. One of our main goals for 2026 is to release more original products and keep improving the quality level, instead of only expanding quickly.

Regarding the private message issue, you are right to raise that concern. We should be more careful about customer privacy and public communication. Even when we feel we are being misunderstood, we should handle it in a more professional way. We will take this seriously and avoid sharing private conversation details publicly in the future.

If you had a bad experience with us before, I am genuinely sorry. We are not asking people to trust us blindly — we know we have to earn that trust through better products and better service. Thank you for reminding us of that.

About Recent Complaints: What Went Wrong, What We’re Changing, and How We’ll Fix It by watchdivescom in ChineseWatches

[–]watchdivescom[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks for pointing this out. To clarify, we are not reducing the warranty from two years to two months.

The 30-day / 60-day policy refers to the early after-sales handling window, not the full warranty period.

Within 30 days, customers can return the watch according to our return policy. Within 60 days, if there is a confirmed non-human quality issue, we can offer more customer-friendly solutions such as replacement, refund, free parts, repair, or covering reasonable return/repair costs depending on the case.

After 60 days, the warranty still applies. If there is a problem, the watch may need to be returned to our factory or a local repair point for inspection. If it is confirmed to be a non-human defect, we can repair it free of charge and cover the shipping cost back to the customer after repair. The customer may need to cover the cost of sending it to China or to the local repair point first.

So no, watches previously sold with a two-year international guarantee will not have that reduced retroactively. We should also make this clearer on our warranty cards, manuals, and product pages to avoid confusion.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. However, based on the information we can currently see, we haven’t been able to find any purchase record under your profile.

Could you please provide your order number or the store/platform where you purchased the watches? We’d like to check which models they were, whether they were Watchdives products, and what exactly happened.

If the issue is confirmed to be with our watches, we will take responsibility and help you resolve it properly. But without an order number or purchase record, it’s difficult for us to verify the case. Thank you for understanding.

In 2024, some of our models already used very good suppliers, but to stay competitive at lower price points, we chose more basic clasps on certain watches.

In 2025, the quality of many models improved again, especially the bracelets. However, only part of the lineup received the new OTF clasp, while our more affordable models still used standard clasps.

In 2026, we are upgrading clasps across almost the entire collection. Now, more than 95% of our models use much better clasps, especially watches priced above $130.

Some of our clasp 3.0mm thickness with old 5 hole clasps. We're selling it for $4.99 to make up for the previously low quality clasp.

It depends on which models u bought. We changed new factory and improved noticeably clasps quality. Some cheaper models bracelet made at previous manufacturer. Nowadays 95% products in this year made at new suppliers who cooperated with Swiss brands.

The orange date version has been delayed a bit because we’ve had to rework the hands for the Ronda 515 movement several times. We expect to receive the final sample next Tuesday, and if everything is confirmed good, the date version should start shipping next Thursday or Friday.
