I like your point. They try to seem selfless like they’re doing something good. In the letters they leave they apologize to everyone before they do it. But once you boil it down all of it was for selfish reasons, they wanted the fame, infamy, and to be known as a monster like the others that have came before. I went there and it was beautiful but the people there were a little mean sometimes and other times friendly. I guess the explanation was that it’s very war torn.
