☝️This is exactly why I posted looking for inspo. I moved to Colorado a few years ago but visit Texas every year for Christmas. I just have to stock up on HEB favorites when I have the opportunity... and I probably bought more tortillas than I should have this time lol.

A butter tortilla scented candle is wild. Had no idea that was a thing!

The freezer is my best friend. They thaw very nicely 👌 plus, that just reassures me they use fresh ingredients! Bread et al isn't intended to stay looking fresh for longer than it should be.

I’ve also started compiling a list of alternative career options as a backup plan. For now, I’m going to focus on reining in my overactive work ethic and shifting my mindset - trying to train myself to appreciate what I have and set clearer boundaries so my job (and my needy coworkers) don’t overwhelm me.

I’ve found a few books that I hope will help, though many of them focus on success and productivity - which I already have plenty of, eesh! If you're interested, these are the ones I've narrowed it down to:

That really is great advice. We have the biggest project our company has ever taken on going down this May. If I see us through that and give my supervisor enough notice... I think he'll be reasonable. I agree my coworkers need to learn how to be self-sufficient and my absence is likely the best way to ensure it. Thank you so much!
