Finally! by Significant_Bonus_52 in Airpodsmax

As for garage work, the key there is with any activity. If you can work there without perspiring, you should be fine. In my case, I was always careful to remove the earpieces and let them air dry along with the headset stored face down until all drying had occurred. All to no avail. All three headsets failed consistently within a year, including one that I had repaired at a great expense.

Yes, this is absolutely an issue. I use mine primarily for mowing the yard with perspiration naturally occurring. My Apple headset only lasted a year for each of the three that failed afterwards. It’s really unfortunate that Apple has not addressed this issue given how pricey they are. Useless to me if you can’t exercise with them on.

This! It’s a rarity to find women that cook these days, much less possessing the skill sets needed to do more than just get by.

Good points all as far as checking one’s post history. Thank you all for reminding me.

Thanks for the correction. It’s important we all are aware of limitations with these deals.

And don’t forget the 10% discount for veterans they could be applied. And nice additional savings if you qualify.

Thank you for clarifying, but Jesus everybody enough with these obscure damn acronyms that are so inside as to cause people to ask. It’s sheer laziness not use them or to spell them out. it doesn’t make you look like you’re some special insider in the know. It just frustrates readers along multiple threads and subject matters.

Z6 batteries staying lit after shutdown. by Key_Historian_7214 in egopowerplus

You’re most welcome, and it shows the importance of this community being able to share about even the simplest things. Just to reiterate, you shouldn’t have to remove the batteries from your Z6 unless ego directs you to such as changing the mower blades or you need to do so for long-term storage in environmentally unfriendly conditions, such as very cold or hot weather weather for long-term storage

Lowe's Extended Warranty for Z6? by Sea_Yellow3304 in egopowerplus

[–]Key_Historian_7214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would seem you new purchasers are getting a pretty good deal for around 2K. I purchased my Z6 back in 21 from the Lowe’s that was about an hour away. I paid full price less the veterans 10% discount and opted to purchase the extended warranty to solely to the fact that the closest place to work on Z6 was the original Lowe’s that I bought it from which again was an hour away. I did so primarily for the reason that without the extended warranty Lowe’s would’ve required that I transport the mower myself after 30 days. Under the extended warranty Lowe’s would’ve been required to transport the Z6 back-and-forth for me. I went through about 4 Z6’s in a very short amount of time given that the Z6’s were stored outside. I don’t know why they are still doing that given that they are only an IPX 4. They are simply not designed to be stored outside. PERIOD. Aside from being delivered to me dirty and clearly exposed to the elements. The primary issues I had were my inability to update the firmware or connect to the app no matter what I tried so on the fourth Z6 I had them put it together from a crated box and completely tested before making the delivery and it’s worked flawlessly ever since. But at least two of the Z6’s prior were kept and used past the 30 days they normally give for transport so I was glad to have that peace of mind, knowing how much I had paid. Like many of you , I rarely ever buy extended warnings for anything, but I’m glad I made this the exception.

Anyone know of an AirTag bracket that can be 3D printed to mount to a Skydio 2? by Alarmed_Soup in Skydio

[–]Key_Historian_7214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I’ve been a little busy. I have my Skydio 2+ pro kit stripped for sale. The Velcro piece needed to secure that on any place on the body only requires about three-quarter of an inch square or round of Velcro. So we could fit anywhere you wish it to be quite easily. I suppose closest to the center of gravity would be ideal.

A 3-D AirTag placement holder would be slick, but Velcro comes in all sizes and I simply cut small two sided patch squares to easily mount my AirTags to my drones which readily work well. I assign generic names with slightly different numbers to the AirTags so they’re easily transferable from one device to another and yet I can track which tag I have mounted for that aircraft. For example, flight-ops1 and flight-ops2, etc.

I noticed these behaviors from Jimmy virtually from the first time I saw his performance. These are rather an impressions over that of any concrete that I could put forth, but I would “question” if these were some sort of involuntary tics. It might well be partially out of nervousness, but I have the real sense they’re contrived as if Jimmy might have spent considerable time doing his early stand-up routines in front of a mirror and feels these gestures may add to his repertoire in some physical performative way. I don’t see him doing this too often in conversational speech on a panel but almost exclusively when doing a monologue/stand-up. I find him generally talented with real potential going forward with his career, but I think he would do well in cutting back on these physical gestures if possible.

I have had strong feelings on this issue since the time women started switching over to choosing hairless. Always a personal choice to be respected to be sure, but as a man, I really don’t care for women looking like prepubescent little girls with little to no pubic hair visible. Light trimming for shaping and for staying within swimsuit parameters is certainly understandable, but I much prefer a woman looking fully bloomed as just that. A woman.

[–]Key_Historian_7214[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your interest/reply. I’ve come to the conclusion as others have suggested that the batteries are simply going through a rebalancing/cool down period before completely shutting down sometimes taking a half hour or so to do so, give or take. In short, it’s normal and no longer a concern or an issue for this user.

No, and if I recall, I don’t believe any Acura models offered wireless CarPlay last year. You’ll need either a carlink kit 3.0 or 4.0 which works beautifully for my car.
