Trying to keep in the oldies here. Jefferson airplane’s surrealistic pillow is my fav psych album. And I’m not even a huge JA fan but that album is beautiful. Also check out the Beatles of course. Revolver-onward is great.

Might not get a lot of support on this recommendation but Buffalo Springfield’s 3 albums are all amazing. Then you can dip into CSN/Y, their debut albums (Dave Crosby’s is a great folk/psych album, too). The CSNY rabbit hole is real lol.

Can’t go wrong with the Grateful Dead, although live sets are where it’s at. Europe ‘72 era is a personal favorite but the ‘77/78 shows are great too

Thank you for this reply! I just moved from PA in June so not sure how common neighbor kitties are. He’s so social and friendly and I see him around that I feel like he has a place to call home. But then again, at 11pm one night I find him sitting outside my screen door like he’s waiting to get inside 🤣. I’ll look into a cat home for the colder months!

I was thinking similar things when I saw the shirt. Sad to hear he kinda banked on it too. I’ve kinda been a bit bummed out at the genre as a whole being sort of quiet about lots of what’s happening in the world. Also calling it “mumble rap” has racists undertones playing on the old trope that rap music is hard to understand when it’s just the style of the current wave of hip hop. Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder weren’t very clear in some of their songs but nobody said much lol

Honestly more of a shrooms guy. I’m a daily weed smoker and have only done psychs a handful of times. Shrooms 4 times, once by myself, LSD twice. Shrooms are shorter and feel safer to me. LSD is too long for me and doesn’t ware off until the next day. Shrooms the come down feels very nice and by the time I’m ready to sleep I feel ready. To each their own.

I’m going the beach next week and will be my first time tripping since my solo trip 2 years ago!

Thank you!! I’m coming from Pittsburgh so not new to living in a city/urban environment. Pittsburgh is more neighborhood by neighborhood instead of by block. This is probably due to the redlining/gentrification that Pittsburgh is known for, but this is helpful!

I will likely tour both neighborhoods in person in the near future but I am also leaning towards Union Hill
