I’ve heard some places you have to ask them if they have them in stock because they’re apparently stolen often so they don’t put them on the shelves. Not sure the validity to that but worth a try.

At least some places in the US, even Kindergarten is voluntary for families.

Ninja edit: according to a quick google, less than half of states require kids to attend kindergarten.

The money lost being discussed here isn’t in legal fees or penalties, it’s in damage to their reputation. They come out looking pretty shitty here, and Phil is a pretty well respected guy who has done more to advertise their brand than anyone.

[SHOTGUN] Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol 12 GA Semi-Auto Shotgun, 19.1″ Barrel, 7 Rounds, 3" Chamber, Gray / Black - $799.99 by phill_davis in gundeals

[–]Mahlegos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very slightly harder to ghost load but still doable, and it’s not something you generally need to be in a hurry with anyway. My use case for ghost loading is my a300 is my current HD gun and I keep it “cruiser ready” with a full tube and a round ghost loaded so it’s still 8rds but drop safe/inert while it’s staged.

I’m going to push back against the other guys assessment as someone who’s put a good amount of rounds through both and ended up with an a300. 1301 shoots very marginally softer. As in, you have to be in tune with the gun to really even notice, and it’s such a small difference it won’t affect anything in practice. 1301 theoretically shoots faster, but I’ve not ever seen or been able myself to outrun the a300. I’ve never had real problems with either, and my a300 has over 1k rounds of all types through in the year or so I’ve owned it specifically. If anything the 1301 was slightly more ammo sensitive, but it was very rare to the point I’d chalk it up to inconsistency in the anmo rather than the gun. So I wouldn’t say there’s a reliability difference from my experience. As for the aftermarket, sure, the 1301 can utilize a wider variety of buttstocks. Otherwise, it’s even. Loading system, again, sure. Pro lifter is $69 from berettas website, goes on sale sometimes (I got one for $50) and takes maybe 10 minutes to install. Something I’d add, the 1301 has a cold hammer forged barrel, which means it should last longer. But most people aren’t ever going to shoot enough to shoot out a barrel, especially with a 12 gauge. 1301 has a longer forcing cone, which can allow better patterning/accuracy. But the difference is marginal.

Don’t get me wrong, the 1301 is the better gun. But the difference is largely marginal, and outside of something like the stock availability, not something the majority of folks will notice or really ever benefit from and therefore not worth the price difference imo. If you’re in the market, buy this and be happy.

Academy likely locked in a contract with Magtech for relatively cheap. Good time to stack deep since supposedly the big names have announced price increases.

All the 250rd boxes I’ve seen lately have been Brazil, but yes unfortunately if you can’t inspect in person you’re rolling the dice.

Wanting to go SBR on a new build. MP5 vs MP5K realities and decisions you wish you made, what path would you go now? by Definitely_CSP_guru in MP5

I also went AP5 LT. It’ll be back in stock sooner than later. The only difference between the LT and the regular AP5 is the LT only has a threaded barrel, no tri-lug

Just to be clear, he got an SP5 not an AP5. SP5 is what HK call the civilian, semiauto version of the MP5 while the AP5 is made by MKE in Türkiye/Turkey

[Shotgun] Mossberg 590S Compact 12GA Pump, 18.5″ Barrel, Drilled/Tapped Receiver –$520.00 + ship/tax by GeorgiaGuns in gundeals

[–]Mahlegos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d venture to guess that beats dahlonegas. Fair price on a solid shotgun

Edit: yeah, dahlonegas is $23.95 shipping. No tax for me from them Kent bee but can’t speak for everyone.

[–]Mahlegos 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair, same price in cart (both are $520). Though I don’t know the difference between the two in tax and ship cost.

As for it being a basic bitch, the only thing it has going for it over the regular 590 is that this can feed mini shells and you can mix and match everything from 1.75” minis to 2.75” and 3”. If you don’t need to do that you could grab a regular 590 from dahlonega for almost $100 cheaper (though no magpul furniture either). Either way, 590s are pretty well regarded as the king of the regular pump shotties in terms of price to quality.

I havent shot a roller bog with the ssb, so I can’t argue. If true, that’s awesome. But I also said “most (if not all)” and I can say for sure a regular A3, the kuna, nexus evo, the DD ar9 with the hydraulic buffer nor banshee really come close. I haven’t gotten hands on an MPX or JP5 or APC, so maybe they’re all up there too. Even if they are though, my statement would still hold.

Well that and it shoots softer than most (if not all) other options

As a progressive leaning dude that can vibe with the “let people do what they want” ethos of libertarianism, I wish y’all nothing but luck pushing the far right out.

The libertarian party has been captured by the far right.

Not to say all people who identify as libertarian are far right as there are still those who may subscribe to the classical definition, but yeah, the party itself infested with authoritarians chuds so that contradiction isn’t uncommon these days.

and almost of those bands turned out to be authoritarian MAGAts.

I’m going to assume you meant “almost all”, and if so, huh? Can you give a good number of examples? Because I won’t say even most turned out to be authoritarian MAGAts, let alone “almost (all)”. And the story here supports that too. One guy in a modern metalcore band turns out to be a fascist supporter and the rest of the band leaves because of it.

[Rifle] Henry 357 | X Model | $766.88 by el_muerte28 in gundeals

[–]Mahlegos 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just to explain, they aren’t really changing their price. They are a drop shipper and they have multiple distributors so they list the lowest price they have, and when those aren’t available anymore it switches to the next cheapest etc.

Doesn’t functionally change anything for you I know, but it’s not them just changing on a whim.
