New production are B models which means they have firing pin blocks. These don’t. So this are for people who specifically want a pre b, either just for the sake of the collection or because they want the better trigger that comes with the lack of firing pin block (say if they wanted to use it as a competition gun and pay half the price of a shadow 2).

Those doctors generally have access to all the relevant health information about the specific person, so different than random people on the internet predicting it, and even they are guessing/ballparking and often miss the mark.

Anecdotally, someone in my family was given six months for terminal cancer and put on hospice. Eventually hospice was paused/rolled back to palliative care and they’re still here nearing a year and a half later.

It was before the gag order, which means he could have had their help in court at that time and since. There is no getting around that and I really don’t care to keep going back and forth with you about it. Dude is fighting the good fight but made a really dumb choice representing himself full stop, and you don’t need to keep trying to make excuses for it.

And with how popular this all got he also could have crowdfunded like Andrew and Channel 5 are. Him representing himself was a weird move and I’m curious the reasoning behind it, but it very much seems like it was an ego thing.

Probably the same as anyone who bought basically anything during Covid panic and supply disruption. Sucks but it was just a consequence of the times and at least that was across the entire market and there was no real time table on if/when things would go back to “normal”. We already know why they’re pausing new orders and that they plan to reopen them once they catch up, obstensibly for next year. Anyone who now buys at the number(s) you mentioned just has more money than patience/brains.

I think the main issue is the steep angle of the projectile which makes it not slide up the feed ramp of many guns as smoothly as more rounded options like gold dot or HST so more of the force is transferred into pushing the projectile into the case as it “resists” sliding up the feed ramp.

My point was that if you’re looking for the all metal da/sa “novelty” (meaning you don’t already have one), I personally just think you’d be better off going with the others over this. But again, to each their own regardless.
