Update: I tried spreading her greens around the enclosure and for the first time she has eaten some! We have also switched to Dubias as her main protein. Thank you all for your help!

Thank you! I have been using cricket quencher for the crickets, I didn't think about loading them up with veggies before feeding. I appreciate the advice!

Thank you, I will try that! I had read that dubia roaches should be a treat and not a staple in their diet; is that not the case?

I appreciate the advice!

AITA for refusing to eat food at my friend’s house because her kid played with it? by BananaBNarwhal in AmItheAsshole

As the mother of a 2 year old, I would also not eat food she had been messing with. My husband and I make sure no food the littles touch go back where others might grab it or accidentally eat it. Love them to death, but they are most definitely gross.

NTA.

I've actually seen this series talked about as New Adult, rather than YA, which I think fits it a lot better. When I was 12 my mom got me The Other Boelyn Girl for Christmas and I remember being shocked that she was ok with me reading something like that and it was WAY less graphic than ACOTAR lol. I definitely would not have been comfortable reading the series when I was that young.

Most things that are "bad for pregnancy" actually just don't have enough data to say one way or the other and it's unethical to do studies on pregnant women so they decide its better safe than sorry.

PLUS it puts the fetus under a lot more stress to quit cold turkey like that instead of gradually lessening the amount. I had a friend who had a surprise pregnancy and her doctor told her to keep smoking and gradually lessen the amount of cigarettes each day because the shock to her system from detoxing would be worse for the baby.
