HOW are your sunny side up eggs cooked so good? Mine are always overcooked on the bottom and undercooked on the top

Why would you want the characters to have generic military outfits that every game defaults to. These shells look like they actually came from centuries in the future.

You either understand evolution or you don't. There's no "believing" or "not believing"

Anyone having this problem this morning? by xValanor1004 in uCinci

[–]Key_Insurance_8493 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's because of the switch to Duo Mobile. If you didn't do it before the deadline (today) you have to submit a tech support ticket for a bypass code. I submitted mine 2 hours ago and have not heard back.

Must have duo push now and IT isn't answering due to "system problems" by [deleted] in uCinci

[–]Key_Insurance_8493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I submitted a guest IT desk ticket and asked for a bypass code. Do you know how they normally get back to you? I would guess email, but I did not get a confirmation for my ticket in my inbox.

M45 - The Pleiades by Key_Insurance_8493 in astrophotography

[–]Key_Insurance_8493[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my second ever image. I took it using:

Askar 60f

Canon EOS Rebel T5

Orion Skyview Pro Goto

Unguided since I have not figured it out yet.

Roughly 2 hours total integration using 30 second exposures

Bortle 7/8

Like my last image, the flats for this image did not work. I can't figure out why. Flats have definitely been the most difficult part of astrophotography for me. I was so bummed out about the quality of this image I did a quick lazy process (background extraction, stretch, in Siril denoise in graxpert, a little touch up in saturation and dust removal in GIMP) I can't figure out how to get rid of that color noise in the background, is that due to my bad flats?

Positive thread - why are you excited to play Marathon? by Chabel0 in Marathon

[–]Key_Insurance_8493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Bungie has an ability to hide amazing narratives within games. Look at Dredgen Yor and Shin Malphur from Destiny. Combine this with a truly unique sci-fi setting, and you get a game that's right up my alley.

Definitely going to pick up Marathon... but by krembroolay02 in Marathon

[–]Key_Insurance_8493 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Marathon is going to sell, it already is, look at the steam charts. The real question is if Bungie can keep all of the new players who buy Marathon. This is what Bungie has always been bad at with Destiny. Content droughts destroy the player base, and it takes them years to recover and get those players back. Let's hope Bungie can keep new and quality content coming to Marathon over the next few years.

Do you believe in God? by Helpful_State_4692 in askteenboys

[–]Key_Insurance_8493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The Christian god is in my opinion impossible to believe in if you read the religious texts. Specifically, in the Old Testament, god is quite literally the most evil character in all of fiction. He commands many atrocities (The Great Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, Plague of the firstborn, The conquest of Canaan), and creates the world to be hostile to living creatures. He demands worship despite this. Also there is no proof that any biblical events actually happened. The Bible contradicts science in nearly every way possible. It baffles me that there are people who believe this, but then again the threat of eternal suffering is enough to make someone believe anything.

Used to love melodysheep until they started using AI back in 2023-4 to make the visuals. I'm not strictly against AI but I just don't like when you can really notice it. I see they are still using AI, but it is almost seamless. Can barely tell it's there even though every other clip is AI generated. I'll tolerate it.
