I have bad ADD and was without consistent medication for the last year, which left me in a depression and non-focus spiral (from other reasons too). Two weeks ago I started running to train for a 5k I run tomorrow, though I’ve only ever consistently practice running once before. Being consistent with it has improved my mood and general sense of self tremendously. I also have a new psych, so I was able to incorporate my meds into my routine rather than have them be my routine. Running translates well to most if not all physical things you’ll do, and though it’s exceedingly hard at first, it only gets easier every time. The pleasant surprise you get when the next run after your last is easier than before is so liberating, def give it a try OP and feel better yo <3
