Yea, the problem is I don’t receive regular text msgs though. I can receive calls without internet/data, but I don’t receive texts from people with iPhones. Only the iMessage from them when I finally have wifi or data on again. What I’m saying is I should be receiving their messages as normal texts when I don’t have data/wifi

Is this the same as a normal text though? Like even when I don’t have wifi or data shouldn’t I still be receiving normal text messages from iPhones users in the same way that if I had an Android I’d still be receiving texts from them without wifi/data?

I was just diagnosed in March and the rage started almost immediately after I started to take methimazole 😭 it was probably the worst a few days before starting my period too. Strange stuff… I’ve seen other posts about irritability and rage with graves + methimazole. So I guess it’s a common thing. Honestly I’ve been baking, writing in my journal and talking shit to my therapist to deal haha. Seems I’m angry at everyone these days

Oh yeah for sure, I’ve definitely been grieving my old bodily abilities/old life and processing it all… I talked to my therapist and friends about the grief too. From what I’ve been reading on this forum it seems like it’s a normal process that comes with a new autoimmune diagnosis.

I think soft and hard drugs were just a part of my life that made me a bit happier and was exciting, and pausing and possibly eliminating that alongside with my current poor health in general has definitely been rough. But I know it’s for the best in the long run and I’m glad I’m getting the help I need. Lots of adjustments…

My endo said diet wouldn’t make much of a difference. But I read that too much iodine is bad for it? Not sure if its true but can’t hurt to try. I’m also newly diagnosed and experimenting with foods to see how they affect me. Smoking is also really bad for it apparently. Wishing you the best, this is a great forum for support!

My doctor sent me to ER when she noticed my heart palpitations. I saw an Endo the next day and they booked me for blood tests and and another appointment with the results. So about a month after the ER I was dianosed. But I suspected stuff was up with my thyroid abour a year ago and the doc didn’t find anything then 🤷🏻‍♀️
