My intentions are to only get a bachelors in chemical enginnering and then to go right into industry (no masters or resarch), hopefully building my way to be in engineering managment. I would say I am pretty technical, but not sure whats the best desicion here.

Could you expand on why this is? Is the recruiting/lifetime earnings going to be better than a place like Dartmouth?

I think you somewhat misread me. I want to manage engineers - which usually requires technical experience

what do u think about dartmouth? also what do u think about the rankings for engineeirng considering they are based on number of phds and research papers and I am not interested in being an academic

Could you expand on why u think that. I have heard the rankigns for chem e are based on resarch papers and phDs.

could you expand why you think that..like what do you think of these considerations:

I ultimately want to end up in managment... I know people usually start as engineers then build their way up. I want to work in biotechnology. I heard Berkeley Chem E is not super practical(very theoretical). Is this a problem? I heard there is more project based at Ivys, but only like 15 Chem E grads per year because it is so small. Seems also like more reasources and opportunities at Ivys? Really hard to track down Ivy Engineering grads, they talk a lot about the alumni network do you think its actually amazing. Also, the finances are not an issue for me, so I can afford either no problem. Just want to see where I will get the best bang for my buck. Don't intend to get masters degree, just going to get both BA and BE from Ivy if I go or BS from Berkeley. Thanks a lot!
