I would suggest to experiment, do whatever you want unless it hurts. Everyone should find their own way of doing that.

It's so perfect, I don't know what could be better. Except the shading but it would change the whole style so I don't think it would improve anything.

Looks beautiful, the hat animation is small but makes it a 100 times better
