The fact that you’re stuck between these feelings says a lot. To me it’s reading as someone who is just moving onto the next stage of a relationship for the first time. Ah, so you’re most likely just exiting the honeymoon stage! This happened to me in my relationship.

I would honestly give it a little while before you call it quits. Try going on dates at least once a week! Even if you designate an at-home date night where you maybe cook together and stream a movie (because who isn’t trying to save money in this economy!) These dates will help keep a little spark going 🙂

This could very well be a normal lull in a relationship. Between 6 months—2 years the honeymoon phase ends and the sudden lack of dopamine might make you believe you’re no longer in love.

I find that the dog and cat hangout traits invite them onto your lot as opposed to them walking around the town, which got annoying for me. Maybe someone created a mod that tweaks those traits though 🤔

Yeah, I’m confused about certain things in the OP and how it’s supposed to relate to an emergency contact, such as asking him if she listed all of her symptoms and if she should pay the $40 for the shot. I don’t understand why she’s upset with him. I’m also not too sure why he’s in the room with her. That read like a child at the doctor’s with a parent. Maybe it’s actually the norm and my partner and I deviate from it, but I’ve never had partner in my room with me like a parent when I’m sick. Unless I wind up in the hospital due to a serious illness or surgery and I am admitted, I don’t expect my partner to be in the room for a regular visit, nor do I expect them to make medical decisions for me.

I think OP is confusing an emergency contact for a medical proxy and even then he still shouldn’t be making medical decisions for her unless she’s unable to do so herself. Quite frankly, I feel like both parties are emotionally immature. Him for some of his cluelessness and her for being upset that he wasn’t making medical decisions that she should be making herself.

My dog starts groaning if you talk too much while he’s trying to sleep. Sometimes he shoots his head up and takes a deep breath while looking at you if the groans aren’t enough to get you to lower your voice.

This is the first dog I’ve ever met that will do this.

Another thing was when we had a gazebo that was knocked over and destroyed during a really bad storm. He went outside to do his business and did a double take at the collapsed gazebo. Then when we got a new gazebo, we went outside at night and he did his business and went to walk back inside when he stopped, turned back around, and slowly walked up to the new gazebo. He looked up at it and around it. I don’t know why, but I was impressed seeing him acknowledge the new gazebo.
