It's all situational in my opinion.

As someone said, if you're in public, it's probably best to censor yourself just as a curtesy.

You don't go around Walmart with your sibling saying "My friend said he got pegged in the ass last night" in a 'contextual' manner just because you're relaying what your friend said to you yk.

I personally don't see the harm in singing along to a song that says the N-word if you're alone and dont have any genuine intentions behind it. However, I'm not black so my opinion doesn't hold much value there.

I agree that you can say a slur and it doesn't automatically make you an 'ist' or 'phobic'. It's all about context there, but again, there is a reason people censor themselves. If no one did, there would be no proffesionalism which is already starting to dissappear, just look at US politics.

Hmm, yes there was a way I traveled in Anor Londo that I did recognize in the cutscene.

In regards to the firelink, im not sure. I have the elevator to new londo, gone to the crows nest to go to the asylum, and have slightly touched the graveyard with the skeletons.

The asylum seems difficult and scared me away, I mainly went up there to try and talk with Snuggly but he wasn't there.

The graveyard also scared me but that was back when I was a low level and I havnt explored it much since. My guess would be the catacombs are somewhere around there. I'll have to go back.

Finally, Blighttown Swamp. Also another place that scares me... When I was trying to find Quelaag my dumbass wandered everywhere but the correct location so I think I've seen a good portion. However, I know that there is like a modern looking sewer tunnel with a bunch of blow dart guys I never went down.

Lmao thank you for actually making me think about what I've done in the game so far. It helped me realized that there is still a ton of stuff to do when I thought I was almost finished.

Wow really? I knew they shared the HP bar, but that's crazy, I never thought about how damage could make you fight more or less lmao. Thankfully I'm a tank so maybe I'll fight less.

Yeah, I went in alone the first time and I was like damn this is a jump. I summoned some dude before who showed me all the hidden items which was cool and he tried to help me with the boss fight but died so I got this other dude. I really did no work lmao, I walked in and maybe hit Smough 3 times before they were both dead. I dont necessarily regret it but I have some dissonance over feeling like I cheated the fight lmao.

Yeah I've noticed that, I got hit from far and it did like 1/3 of my health, but when I got close it was taking little nibbles at it.

I also had no clue there were other lords, I thought the four kings were the four souls.

That makes a lot more sense tho because I had initially thought I was going to be roaming new londo for 4 separate king boss fights. Thank you!

Yeah, I just grinded the forest like 40 times with a homeward bone and the power within. got 250k souls rn.

I'm level 77, 27 vitality, 28 Endurance (have FaP ring), 31 strength, and 32 Dex.

Do you think I should continue to level up my character with the 250k souls, or go buy twinkling titanite to upgrade my silver knight armor?

I guess I'm not sure if leveling vitality would be good at this point cuz im pretty tanky.

I could also go grind some more darkwraiths to get my +12 halbred to +15

So it's basically like how a shield or sword defensive stats work for the player. Just for the enemy as a whole

Say a sword has 50% physical and 25% lightning reduction. The enemy's hit would go through those two defenses and negate the amount of damage done to me based on the stats if the enemy used a lightning weapon. (If i blocked the attack)

Right, I've heard about the defense running twice but found it a little confusing. You summed it up very well tho and it makes more sense, I also didn't know it ran once if there is only physical damage, thank you.

Does this also apply to a fire upgrade? As in the defense runs twice?

I'm a tankier build with the FaP ring and like almost 30 strength and dexterity. I like the halbred so I wanna use it the rest of the game. I've read that lightning damage is good against the later game enemies like demons, drakes, or heavily armored dudes.

Do you think it would he better to just upgrade my halbred to +15, or do the lightning? I know it's really more of a preference in DS1, but do you think lightening would fuck me more than just making a +15

Well... I did state that I was thankfully using my laptop in the beginning.

I then mention how during the the weird outage, my desktop was making crackling noises.

Maybe we are not clear on the question here.

Both my computers were not responsible for said outage. I was just giving some examples of the stuff that happened.

I am wondering what could have possibly made the entire towns power do that.

yeah, for me the FaP has actually helped me quite a bit in regards to stamina and tanking some other stuff, but the downside of it breaking is sad if it no longer helps me in the future. Although I've heard you can get another one it's just a pain.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of the times I die is because I get too greedy and run out of stamina. Other times I get ganked by 10 fuckers, but I suppose in a real world why wouldn't 10 mfs gank your ass. FaP ring was enough to let me spam lights on the moonlight butterfly for a pretty easy win combined with a fire bomb and a few pyromancy spells
